Where is this beautiful place you see in the video thumbnail? Somewhere in a forest in Hillsboro. It’s a crazy perfect place for a wedding, and when a loved one offers to host your wedding at their home its even more perfect.

We really enjoyed our time with Allina and Ross and their families. Big families are really fun to be around and you just get cool little glimpses of their family cultures throughout the day. We especially loved Allina, her mother and sister’s song melody performance at the end of the film, and I remember it being really hard to keep our cameras steady cause we were both laughing so hard as we were filming. Also it was really cool to have their daughter Karlyn there for her parents first look and to walk down the isle.

When I watch this film I just love the greenery, the gentleness of these two, and the heart of the day. They have been through a lot together and it felt like their wedding gave recognition to their journey and the joy they share together. Just warms the heart:)
